Do you have any items you just can’t seem to give up on?
Mine is this jacket. It’s like a cat…it has nine lives. I keep putting it in the give-away pile, but always end up digging it out again. Yesterday, I tore through three boxes trying to find it because I thought maybe, just maybe, I had given up on it too soon.
And just like every other time I’ve dug this piece out, I remembered why I tossed it in the first place. In theory, it’s a great piece: warm-toned bronzey beaded goodness! But I just don’t love the silhouette on me. I have to work REALLY HARD to get it to look cool, and that’s not what I want from a wardrobe piece. It may be time to finally give up on this one.
I often feel that way about a structured jacket, that’s definitely an item that has been tossed and revived. I would wear this one front and center, it’s fabulous! It looks stunning in this ensemble.
