I sprained my ankle stepping wrong off the porch and landed face first into the pile of blankets I was carrying. The blankets made for a cushy landing and handy muffle for my screams. 👍

Swelling finally went down so I fit my shoes again. 🙌

– Crop Flare Jeans –

A flare balances hips and a crop gives a petite presence by showing a little skin, so a crop flare is a match made in heaven for this petite girl. A grey distressed pair is next on my list (I’m hoping these go on sale & pop back in my size – did you know any Frame jean labeled “Le Pixie” is a petite size?).

The pair I’m wearing is by AG which is a brand I find tends to run small and petite-friendly (the knee distressing always seems to hit me at the right spot). But if you’d rather find a proper petite-sized pair, I’ve included a few options in a similar wash below as well:

– Loafers –

A simple penny loafer in a reddish-brown leather is a classic wardrobe staple. I look for styles that aren’t too clunky and don’t come up too high over the arch of the foot. I’ve always found a lower vamp (the part that comes up over the top/arch of the foot) looks better on me, by once again giving myself more presence (showing more skin). The ones below come in at least a size 5, with a few starting at size 4:

I’m sorry to hear about your ankle Kelly. But I’m glad it’s on the mend, and selfishly I’m excited to see more of your looks with flats! I love everything about your outfit and your style <3
